Next Saturday, October 1st the Alliance for Renewable Energy (ARE) will be hosting the second annual Laramie Solar Tour – an event aimed at educating and inspiring members of the community as we reach for our full solar energy potential. There are several options for participating in the Solar Tour – including carpooling, bike riding, and livestreaming the event. The tour kicks off at 9:30 am at the West Laramie Fire Station #3 and concludes around 1:30 pm at the Laramie Rec Center. Throughout the tour, participants will view and learn about local solar installations that energize homes, businesses, and public services before concluding the tour with refreshments.
